County Health Department – A Great Resource for Physician Groups and Hospitals

The Path to REAL Wellness

To become fitter in an earned sense, it’s up to us to behave so as to move across the ideal side of this

The failure to appreciate the various character of health, earned from inactive, partly accounts for why America may have much medical care and not enjoy the highest quality of health condition. After all, contemporary medicine is a great thing but there are two problems: people expect a lot of it and too little of these.

Understanding the difference between static and earned health may encourage people to become passive – to realize the demand for and value of REAL wellness lifestyles.

A Fable

Here’s a fable to state the limits of medicine to boost health status versus the energy of our own behaviours.

Imagine a nation where everyone owns high powered luxury automobiles – they cost next to nothing and are easily replaced. Within this epic nation, everybody becomes unlimited free care for the maximum quality, plus all of the medications they need and there are exceptionally skilled trauma teams put up at each intersection. The matter is, the people within this mythical country can do whatever they like – there are no laws regulating auto security. Yet another thing – brakes haven’t been invented yet.
Interpretation of the Fable

The greatest improvements in the mythical society wouldn’t follow in introducing more doctors, hospitals, drugs or trauma teams. Changes in habits and motorist behaviors could, on the other hand, go a long way to promote a healthier society.

Changes in lifestyles will also be the secret to better health outcomes in the real world, our nation in particular. We’ve got a fantastic health care system – today we need sensible people making wise lifestyle choices which make life not only fitter but more rewarding, more fulfilling and much more attractive. We need to help folks understand that health isn’t only a static occurrence: Earned health offers so much more.
